Small bowl, could be your personal ice cream bowl. It measures 5 1/2” in diameter and 2 1/2” tall. The inside is solid black and the outside is black with what is called a chattered design. This design is done with a metal tool being held against the bowl at a certain dryness and the wheel is on high speed. The metal tool makes a carved design and I colored the design a bit so it would show up.
