It is done when the piece is leather hard and already has underglazes applied. A metal tool is held up to it at a very high speed and the tool begins to chatter. It takes practice! This was made on the potter’s wheel and is Porcelain and Stoneware. It has a brushed chrome pump which will last longer and is nicer looking than the cork and plastic ones.
